Pommie’s first successful moment came in the year 1994, when an English school team, Dean Close toured Zimbabwe for a game. After completing his primary school, he moved the Milton High School and focused completely on cricket, giving up his interest on other sports such as Rugby. His love for the game increased with time and started playing competitive cricket regularly. He was included in the school team after one year and never looked back after that. He began playing the game at Estate Preparatory School. He started playing the game at the young age of 10. Pommie Mbangwa was born on 26th Jane 1976 in the small town of Plumtree in Zimbabwe. Today, he is counted amongst the most respected commentators in the cricketing world.
